thought of the day

Household chores and I do not always get along. And that is putting it nicely.  It isn't that I don't like working, cleaning, or doing laundry - but these are all things I do at work on a daily basis so its the last thing I want to do when I get home.  Now add a quick dose of adult ADD, and you here you have me blogging on a two hour lunch break! But I can hear the washer and the dishwasher churning along in the background.... So getting back to chores and picking things up- I am guilty of leaving shoes where ever I take them off. M asked the other day why there was a pair of shoes in every room?  My answer: So I can safely exit the house in case of an emergency and not be barefoot. Well the look I got was priceless! So you should always be prepared, but I must say those people on the show Doomsday Preppers are taking it to the extreme! If you haven't seen it yet - check it out on National Geographic Channel. Its well worth the waste of time.
