Thanks to this months Food Network Magazine, there will never be another regular pasta or spaghetti night for a long time. This issue was all ITALIAN and I can't wait to try everything. The extra fun booklet of 50 things to do, was all about PESTO! This recipe is definitely a keeper!
Monday:: Citrus Salmon, green beans and mashed potatoes
Fresh lemon zest and juice along with lime, garlic, salt, pepper made this extra tasty. I grilled it with a little EVOO on top. It was quick and delicious.
Tuesday:: Grilled Chicken Salad
This is pretty much a basic staple. Grill the chicken however you want, add whatever salad toppings and dinner is served.
Wednesday:: Italian Sausage with peppers and onions
With college baseball season only 4 days away, why not get in the spirit with some backyard grilling and a flavor I haven't had since last summer?!
Thursday:: His and Hers ...
Evidentially the master griller has gotten tired of me complaining about steak and never knowing if I like it past the first 2 bites. So we have nicknamed it "His and Her Night", steak for the boy, chicken for the lady.
Friday:: Margarita Lime Nachos!!
They are making a second appearance! I love trying things from my cookbooks and magazines and finding keepers. These are fun because its totally something I would order out so with a cold drink its just like being out at the neighborhood bar and grill :)
