Cabbage Patch Babies

If you follow and read my sister's blog as well, you will know that we are on a mini vacation to Helen, Georgia.  Helen is an interesting town...When you are driving down the street it is like you have been transported to an Apline Swiss mountain town, but when you interact with people its a mix between Jersey Shore and Myrtle Beach.  We are staying at a great little bed and breakfast and they have given us mini trips suggestions to explore other local areas.  Not to mention, amazing breakfast both mornings. Kate and I even liked the grits .... a little.

"Code green, mother cabbage in labor, paging Dr. John, we have a code green!!" Those are the words that can be heard through the intercom at Babyland General Hospital.  The birthplace of all the Cabbage Patch babies. Kate and I stopped in for a visit today, and signed in at the admitting desk and were able to visit all the nurseries and new babies being born.  As soon as we walked in, it was like a blast from the past! The whole place smelled like Cabbage Patch Kids... just like they did on Christmas morning, some twenty years ago.  The amount of little girls in this place was crazy but their little brothers were not to fond of the Babyland Hospital. While we were visiting, there was two births, both baby boys named Bobby Aiden, and Henry Jace.  This place is really something else. All the nurses and doctors were walking around, more then willing to help you with the adoption process for a mere ... ahem... $29.99 and up.
This is a picture from my phone of some of the newbies in the nursery.

We have 2 days left of vacation, and we will be tubing down the Chattahoochee, shopping, eating, more shopping, and even more eating! I will have more to blog about when I get back, but Cabbage Patch Land, just couldn't wait!!
