wedding craziness

Phew, its a good thing the wedding isn't this Saturday!! Originally Jeremy and I were set to get married November 21 2009, but Uncle Sam had other plans. When Jeremy got his deployment dates early last year, they were told to be prepared to come home after about 13 months ... but maybe as early as 9 months .... Let me tell ya, that does not work very well in the wedding planning world! Everything was put on hold, and new date was picked, and the big day was postponed to make sure the groom would be able to attend!! (With all of that excitement, Jeremy got home 'on time' and the original date would have been OK after all, but who would have known!) The new date is June 27th 2010, and I have lots of planning to do!! I am kinda freaking out this week with the what ifs and holy cows, but its mainly because I would be totally unprepared if the wedding was only 3 days away!!

I am working on save the dates, and addressing envelopes, hope to get them out in the mail before the big Christmas card rush. And yes ... the save the date totally counts as your Christmas card this year :) We have a menu tasting set over the holidays, we are talking about honeymoon destinations and we started our registry. We are at Belk (Its like a southern Macy's for you northerns) and Macy's. We haven't picked everything out yet for our wishlist, it is kinda stressful! All these decisions and trying to learn about the different level of cookwear and which one to pick! I think I just need the pyrex, for the 'heat and eat' meals. HaHa.

This Thanksgiving we will be lucky enough to see both sides of the family. I will be in Apex with the Nobles side, and then my parents will be coming for the weekend after spending time with my sister and her family. I can't wait for lots of good cooking, and break from work. Volleyball is still full swing, the girls went undefeated in conference, and are hosting the tournament this weekend Fingers crossed -- it will be my 3rd year in a row to go to the NCAA tournament! GO TRAINER GO.
