First day of work!

Today was my official first day of work! I started at Furman University where I will be working as an assistant athletic trainer primarily with volleyball, men's/women's tennis and men's/women's track. My first day was pretty easy and filled with orientation. My officemate is about my age, and we seem to have a lot in common so I am excited to get to know him and the rest of the staff.

Furman is a beautiful campus with a lake, fountains, lots of trees, and walking trails! They have about 2,500 students, most of which live on campus. They are purple and white (I have been purple ever since I became a pirate!). It is about ten minutes from downtown Greenville, SC, and Paris Mountain State Park is right around the corner. I am really excited to explore the area and see what Greenville has to offer.

Right now I am staying with my dear friend Bekah since I am still homeless, and living out of the storage unit/car. This weekends goal is to find a place to live, and hopefully move in soon. I have another couch/guest room I am take advantage of if Bekah kicks me out, but hopefully not :) We are having a great time catching up since we both left Clemson early this summer. Seems like its been a lot longer then 2 months!
