girls FIESTA weekend

Well hats (sombreros to be specific!) off to my sister for planning a great weekend!! The conspiracy started a few months ago when Kate asked for a few random email addresses. She planned a girls weekend since everyone was 'semi' close, and we kicked her husband out for the weekend and all got together! The weekend events were a total surprise to me - they even gave me a bogus packing list! We had a great time catching up, scrapbooking ALL day on Saturday! It was so much fun, eating lots of Mexican food, and playing loaded questions, which is a CRAZY board game. Kate went all out and made awesome decorations and yummy food! She won the Martha Stewart award for the weekend! These flags had four different designs and were strung all over the house.

She also had tons of scrapbooking stuff too! I think Mita was a little overwhelmed! Everyone brought pictures so there were many trips down memory lane. The biggest surprise of the weekend was the MARGARITA MAKER!! This thing is so impressive - it makes a perfect margarita. So that was put to good use on Saturday night. So was the sombrero. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from the weekend. We have decided it is going to be an annual thing – so girls, let’s start planning the next one!
